Research Interests

Synaptic plasticity is generally believed to be the cellular mechanism of learning and memory. Furthermore, many researches have suggested that some pshycological disorders and mental disorders are highly related to dysfunction of synaptic plasticity, such as depression, PTSD and AD. We are interested in how synaptic plasticity was modulated by different neuromodulaters or drugs and how such synaptic plasticity was involved in mental disorders with in vivo and in vitro recordings.
